Rules of Participation
in the 31st Andrzej Zawada Mountain Festival in Lądek‑Zdrój
- 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- These Regulations define the rules of participation in the events of the 31st Andrzej Zawada Mountain Festival organized by the TKKF KOMPAS Association, headquartered at Pasterka 6, 57‑350 Kudowa‑Zdrój, Poland (NIP: 5832958302), email: przeglad@kompas.pl.
- The event will take place on 3–6 September 2026 in Lądek‑Zdrój and on nearby mountain trails. The campsite operates from 2–4 September 2026.
- The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the event program.
- The Festival promotes mountain activities of a sporting and exploratory nature that involve risk. The Organizer is not responsible for activities undertaken by participants.
- Some parts of the Festival (e.g. concerts) are Mass Events. Separate regulations apply to these events in addition to these Rules. Mass Event areas are clearly marked and supervised by security staff.
- 2. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
- Participation in paid events requires the purchase of festival passes or tickets available on the website of the 31st Andrzej Zawada Mountain Festival – www.festiwalgorski.pl
- Tickets and passes purchased before 2 September 2026 must be exchanged for a wristband at the Festival Office.
- Participants acknowledge that purchased tickets are exchanged for wristbands worn on the wrist. Wristbands may not be removed during the validity period of the ticket and must be presented when entering the festival area and whenever requested by security staff.
- Participation in free events does not require registration or payment and takes place by arriving at the location and time of the free event.
- 3. OBLIGATIONS OF PARTICIPANTS
- Participants are required to follow safety rules and comply with the instructions of the Organizer and event staff. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Festival without the right to a refund of purchased tickets.
- Actions that disrupt the course of the event or violate the rights of other participants are prohibited.
- Participants must respect the Organizer’s property and the venue where the event takes place.
- Legal guardians are responsible for minors under their supervision.
- Participants are financially liable for any damage caused on the Festival grounds or to its infrastructure.
- 4. USE OF IMAGE AND MATERIALS
- The Organizer reserves the right to record the course of the event in the form of photographs, video recordings and other audiovisual materials.
- Participants consent to the free use of their image, voice and statements in promotional, informational and reporting materials published by the Organizer in any media, including the Internet.
- The use of image also includes the publication of photographs, videos, interviews and other materials without territorial or time limitations.
- Participants acknowledge that the event is public and may be documented through photography and video recordings. The image of participants may be captured as part of the overall event.
- 5. LIABILITY
- The Organizer is not responsible for items left behind or lost during the event.
- Minors must remain under the supervision of their legal guardians.
- Purchasing a pass or ticket entitles the holder to participate in Festival events but does not guarantee a seat at a specific event if seating capacity in a given venue is limited.
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the event or change its program due to circumstances beyond the Organizer’s control (force majeure).
- Tickets and passes may be given away or resold at a price not exceeding the purchase price until they are exchanged for a wristband.
- The Organizer reserves the right to change the Festival program, including speakers, event times or locations. Such changes do not constitute grounds for ticket or pass refunds.
- If the event is cancelled, participants will be informed promptly via the email addresses provided during registration.
- 6. MASS EVENTS
- During the Festival, Mass Events may take place in clearly marked and fenced areas referred to as the Venue.
- Areas not intended for the public during the event include administrative offices, storage areas, the stage, backstage areas, ticket offices, security rooms, artists’ dressing rooms and technical rooms.
- In the event that a Mass Event is organized under special sanitary regulations, every participant is required to comply with all applicable health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Only persons with a valid wristband or other authorization document may enter the Venue. Participants must occupy seats in accordance with the designation indicated on their invitation or ticket.
- Parents or legal guardians are responsible for the safety of children attending the Mass Event. Minors may enter the Mass Event area only when accompanied by an adult.
- The Organizer is not responsible for items left unattended on the premises of the Mass Event.
- Participants attending a Mass Event are required to comply with the instructions of security and information services responsible for maintaining safety and order.
- The purchase and consumption of alcohol up to 3.5% may only take place in areas designated by the Organizer and appropriately marked.
- The following are prohibited during Mass Events:
- bringing alcohol, narcotics or psychotropic substances onto the premises
- using open fire, smoking tobacco products or similar products except in designated smoking areas outside the venue
- bringing items that may be used as weapons or tools of aggression, including weapons, clubs, sticks, fireworks or pyrotechnics
- bringing glass containers
- bringing flammable, corrosive, foul‑smelling or staining substances
- wearing masks or disguises intended to prevent identification by security or police
- entering areas or rooms not open to the public
- behaviour considered inappropriate, including aggressive behaviour, displaying banners without permission, shouting vulgar or offensive slogans, littering the venue, relieving oneself outside designated areas or throwing objects onto the stage
- bringing animals onto the premises
- recording (filming, photographing or audio recording) the event without written consent of the Organizer
- Entry to Mass Events will be possible through designated entrances from 19:00 or at another time decided by the Organizer.
- Participants must behave in a manner that does not endanger the safety of other participants and must comply with the instructions of security and information services.
- The Organizer may record the course of the event, including the behaviour of participants, using audio‑visual recording devices.
- Security staff of the Organizer have the right to:
- verify the identity of participants
- inspect bags and clothing if there is suspicion of prohibited items
- refuse entry to persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaving aggressively, or possessing prohibited items
- remove persons who violate the rules or disrupt public order
- Persons posing a clear and direct threat to the life or health of others may be detained and handed over to the police if necessary.
- Information regarding entrances, exits, medical points, toilets, food areas and facilities for people with disabilities is provided by the information service.
- The Organizer is not responsible for items left in cloakrooms or changing rooms.
- 7. CAMPSITE
- During the Festival, campsites will be available for an additional fee.
- Entry to the campsite is permitted only for persons holding a valid campsite pass.
- Participants wishing to stay at the campsite must report to the Festival Office to receive a wristband.
- Entry to the campsite is permitted upon presentation of the wristband.
- Part of the campsite area is fenced and supervised from 2 September 2026 at 17:00 until 7 September 2026 at 09:00.
- Participants stay at the campsite at their own risk. The Organizer is not responsible for the life, health or property of persons using the campsite.
- The Organizer is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Tents may only be pitched in designated areas.
- The Organizer reserves the right to designate a specific place for pitching a tent.
- Due to limited space, campsite accommodation will be organized in sectors.
- Motorhomes or vehicles adapted for sleeping may only enter designated areas of the campsite.
- Vehicles must be parked only in areas indicated by the Organizer.
- Tents and vehicles must be located at a safe distance from each other.
- Minors must remain under the supervision of adults.
- The campsite is equipped with sanitary facilities including washrooms and portable toilets.
- Quiet hours apply from 22:00 to 07:00.
- Participants are required to:
- follow instructions from security and the Organizer
- avoid creating hazards
- present the wristband when entering the campsite and when requested by security
- maintain order and respect other participants
- The following are prohibited at the campsite:
- lighting fires outside designated areas
- using open fire inside tents
- connecting to electrical installations outside designated places
- damaging surrounding greenery
- damaging campsite infrastructure
- disturbing public order
- littering the campsite area
- bringing dangerous items including weapons
- bringing narcotic substances
- Persons who do not comply with the campsite rules may be removed from the campsite without the possibility of return.
- 8. FINAL PROVISIONS
- The Organizer reserves the right to introduce changes to these Regulations.
- The Regulations are available on the Festival website and are accepted by participants during the registration process.
- Participation in the Festival, its Mass Events or the use of the Campsite constitutes acceptance of these Regulations.
- The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove from the event any person violating the Regulations or posing a threat to the safety of participants.
- Matters not regulated herein shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland.
