Our Festival brings together speakers and audience members from over 20 countries. They all speak different languages, but the two most popular (and the two official languages spoken during the event) are Polish and English, the third most popular language is Spanish.
Festival catalogues, leaflets and info signs are written both in Polish and English. Volunteers in our ticket and information office always speak Polish and English, at the very least.
Our Festival App (for iPhone and Android) is available in English too.
Most movies are screened in English or have English subtitles. All the polish films has english subtitles.
We also provide simultaneous interpretation during all non-English lectures and ceremonies in the Big Tent and other venues. Please ask for a special headset at the ticket and information office.
You will find information on the languages spoken and interpretation services next to each lecture and film title in our schedule.
Most of the staff in local shops, hotels and hostels also speaks English and should you have any problems, you can always ask our volunteers for assistance.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate and contact us – in English, of course! 🙂
