2nd option is to upload the film to our FTP server. You will get user’s name, login and password after submitting the form.
If the digital file is unavailable, please get in touch with us ( so we can find a solution together.

What do I get if my film won?

The winners will be awarded with a diploma and laurel leaves which can be used in promotional materials. If the corresponding category is supported by our sponsors – gift or cash are also possible.

Do I have to be present at Ceremony Awards?

Of course! We strongly recommend that. We offer plane tickets, transport from/to the airport and accommodation to the authors of the shortlisted films. The shortlist will announced on 15th of August 2017.

What do I get if my films is accepted to Ladek Tour (showing tour in whole Poland)

Film authors will be offered royalties for screenings.

Do you show the submitted films on other festivals?

Not without your permission.

What film length do you recommend?

You should take a full length mountain film and cut it in half. Then cut another 10 minutes and maybe shorten ot a little bit more. Now it is perfect! It is a joke of course but seriously – best films are from 10 to 40 minutes. A good story can be told in 120 seconds but even an amazing adventure can be murdered in a never-ending production.

What is it Mountain Film, what types of films do you accept?

Mountain Film is a very wide category – it includes every kind of mountain sport activity. We also accept films where mountains are only a background. The most important is to tell a powerfull story, arouse emotions. We do not want just a GoPro footage showing your holidays. Technical quality counts as well but it’s not crucial.

Is the Film Competition open only for the professional filmmakers?

Of course not. Competition is open for everybody. Professional filmmakers, tv journalists and travelers submit their films every year. Amateur productions are also highly appreciated by Jury and the audience.
