Welcome to the 22nd edition of Mountain Festival in Ladek, the greatest and oldest Polish event of this kind. 2017 edition will be held from 21st to 24th of September. As usual it will offer many film screenings and meetings with great climbers and mountaineers. Save the date!

Founder and first director of our event (1995-2005).
Inner emigrant-fascinated by the idea of hippies and disheartened by the lack of prospects for a normal life in the socialist homeland- came to a village near Lądek-Zdrój from Poznan at the end of the 1980s.
He grazed sheep, cut wood and climbed wherever he could, in the meantime becoming a climbing instructor of the Polish Mountaineering Association. On his own initiative were fixed climbing routes on the Lądeckie Rocks, together with Jerzy Bielecki he published climbing guidebook to this region.
in 1995 he came up with the idea for and implemented the Review of Mountain and Tourism Films. From the next year, as the director of the Culture and Leisure Center in Lądek-Zdrój organized the subsequent editions of the Review of Mountain Films-for a long time the only event of this type in Poland.
Was the editor-in-chief of”Taternik”-the oldest mountain journal.
In 2003 became Deputy Mayor of Lądek-Zdrój, and in 2010 the director of the spa Lądek-Długopole SA.
Author of several books (including “Moje Pagóry” which had its second edition).
Mental antenna holder, promoter of numerous events, New Consciousness Vehicle (according to Jurek from the observatory on Mt. Śnieżka).
He has always supported the Review (today known as the Festival). He helps, advises, guides, judges, writes, reviews.
