A mountain climber, has climbed in various mountains of the world, the most successful were his trips to the mountains of South America where in the Andes and Patagonia he opened new, technically difficult routes. For nearly twenty years he has been training students of climbing as an instructor of the Polish Mountaineering Association. He explores the field of risk management, drawing inspiration from: social psychology, aircraft pilots training, occupational health and safety with the emphasis on the particularly dangerous jobs, business and the analysis of climbing accidents. A court expert on climbing and OHS (Occupational Health and Safety), entered on the list of court experts of the Regional Court in Toruń. For years he has been sharing his experience during training and workshops among which activities run for participants of the Polish Winter Himalaism play an important role. He served as the chairman of the Training Committee and the Safety Committee. Cooperates with “Taternik”, writes articles for the “Góry” magazine.
